Performed data recovery from a faulty iMac and recovered more than 2TB of mixed files. The recovered data required significant sorting and recovery work because of the condition of the original storage.
Diagnosed an iMac that failed to boot and displayed a startup disk error. The internal drive was detected but the APFS volume would not mount, even from USB recovery, indicating serious filesystem corruption or possible drive failure. Standard recovery attempts were unsuccessful and restore or professional data recovery options were recommended.
