HP Laptop Failure – eMMC Storage Diagnosis

Customer laptop was taken offsite for further diagnosis after ongoing Windows and networking issues. During testing, the 64GB eMMC storage progressively failed and eventually stopped appearing in the BIOS.

Because the eMMC storage is soldered directly to the motherboard, replacement is not practical or cost-effective. The laptop is also quite underpowered, so the recommended option was to replace the computer rather than spend more money repairing it.
