Attended a site where a laptop would intermittently lose access to external monitors, keyboard and network connectivity when connected via a USB-C dock. Testing confirmed the notebook itself was operating normally and the issue could be reproduced across multiple docking sessions. The docking station was replaced and all peripherals were retested including dual display output, Ethernet connectivity and USB devices. System functionality was confirmed before handover.
Investigated reports of inconsistent network performance affecting multiple workstations. Conducted testing of switch ports, patch leads and endpoint connectivity before identifying a bottleneck within the local network infrastructure. Connectivity was restored and throughput verified through further testing across affected devices.
