🎓THE BOSS’S BACKGROUND AND TRAINING APPROACH
Back in the early 2000s, I was the on-site IT guy for a Sydney college, running certification labs for MCSE, CCNA, and Certified Master Webmaster courses. As the official VUE testing administrator, I set up all the exam environments and ran the tests.
Ironically, that role disqualified me from earning those certifications myself. At just 20 years old, I was already the one people trusted to make sure hundreds of students could earn theirs. That experience gave me a deep, hands-on understanding of the course material, because I had to learn it to support it. I moved from that role into Macquarie University to setup IT Labs for the Statistics Department.
In 2012 I was hired by Red Bull to go to Mahindra Satyam in Chennai India and train their L2,L3 Service desk teams on LANDESK and ServiceNow.
